This video gives a look at another completed house that I designed and drafted for one of my builders. This house is a slightly larger 4 bedroom house than the last one but the layout and practicality are maximised given the smaller size of the house. This particluar video is of the outside of the house and the next video will show the inside. This type of floor plan layout gives us an affordable family home still providing all the essentials however not wasting dollars through dead space. In all my plans I try to minimise passage areas. We still try to include 2 living areas so that the parents have a seperate spot to the kids. These designs have a 2 way bathroom wich acts as a semi ensuite to the main bedroom. This saves substantial dollars in not putting in a second bathroom. We also include the laundry in a cupboard in the garage which people seem to be loving. So hopefully taking this walk through tour of this completed house you will get some good cost saving ideas as you look to plan out your floor plan for your next dream house.
